Funded by the sponsor pool and a chunk of ticket revenue. Here is how the seats were allocated.

The scholarship round is closed. Forty-two seats went out, funded jointly by the sponsor pool and a fixed slice of general ticket revenue.
How they were allocated, since we think this should be public:
- Eighteen to applicants whose employers do not fund conference travel.
- Fourteen through partner organizations, who nominate from their own communities — they know their people better than a form does.
- Ten to first-time attendees who have never been to a conference in this field at all.
Every scholarship includes the ticket, the workshop of your choice, and the travel grant. It is not a discount code; it is a seat.
If you did not get one this round, the fund grows with sponsorship, and the next round opens alongside the CFP.
